Hubsan X4 HD quadcopter drone high altitiude test flight
Переглядів 709 років тому
Having recently purchased the Hubsan X4 HD Quadcopter, I took it to a local playing field for a high altitude test flight. I am an inexperienced quadcopter pilot but found this very easy to fly. As you can see it can reach quite a height whilst still maintaining control.

Almost 30 years later and this is still by far the best fireworks display I have ever seen. From memory they said that spend $250,000 on fireworks every night and that was in 1989!

What ship is this beautiful ice sculpture being created on?
This was on Jewel of the Seas,
i always thought the old bridge and the new bridge were the same height
I really Loved this video...it brought back tons of memories.... of many things that are not there anymore....💖💕🤗
Fond memories on that ship.
Great video! I hold loads of memories as a child too on both sister ships. The first time I was in a proper storm was on the Pride of Calais, I don't know why but I used to love the squeaky noise it made during storms, which I think were floorboards and glasses and stuff, but I could be wrong. It's such a shame they got rid of them, I prefer them to their replacements
Wow!! Historic.
Dumbo unit clowns and balloons 1977-2008

The end of any ship is heartbreaking and these scenes here really bring home the sadness associated with a ship's final voyage....
I've watched a lot and THIS beaching was full tit!
Pregunto ...... se está calentito dentro de un crucero en octubre....
Don't know you can call it English any more don't know you can call it countryside any more either 😃😂😁😀
I worked on this ship too. Lots of great memories!
Looks boring
That baby or young toddler crying at 0216 is well into his or her 30s now; maybe a relative of yours, smithyrat? Great historic video...I've recently come across some old tapes at my parents house. We did a few trips and would love to find some footage of a flight or two from decades gone by, such as a BA L-1011 round trip JFK-MAN we did in 1989 or so or a trip to Rome two years earlier. Sadly, my guess if the videos are still in watchable condition, the reality is that we didn't tape much of the takeoff or in-flight as the camcorder would have been safely packed away in the overhead bin...indeed, UA-cam wouldn't have come into existence for another 16 years after our UK trip. On a secondary note, why would anybody have disliked this video? It's video from a family archive, are people mad that it isn't tv production quality?
Only knew the ship from books but dreamed as a child I'l take a ride on her across the Channel. I've waited too long
Frank the Tank!!!
Not much pride there.
Went here with my mom one of my birthdays years ago. Got a mouthful of filthy water from one of the tanks full of juvenile crocs suddenly splashing without warning. I believe there was a big fire there a few years ago. I don't know if they are still there or not.
The man who designed the original Skyway was interviewed by Bob Hite of channel 8 news a few short years after the new bridge was opened. Hite and other divers found huge cracks in the support columns of the new bridge, and the designer of the old bridge had nothing but bad things to say about the design and condition of the new span, saying he "would never drive across the new bridge"! That said, the new bridge is still there & still in use.
I loaded that aircraft and towed it out!
So, I understand you would need to be called Morris to go Morris dancing then you would need to be called Molly to go Molly Dancing. Maybe it is just as well Ballroom isn't a name.
Their first plane was a 747?? Thats really brave....
sailed on her as a deck boy 91, then went deep sea for few years and return on her for a few more years before joining the Picardy. had a good laugh on her though. happy daze
explorer of the seas?
No, Jewel of the seas
I drove in 2011 with the Pride of Dover from Calais to Dover. Looked exactly the same way. The return trip was then with the then brand new Spirit of France.
My dream would be get lost onboard the interior of a cruise ship , honestly it would be soooo good
what a beautiful bird she was, sad i didnt see this, but i heard her often
i was there and remember looking at that boat and didnt think for one minute it would go all the way over lol
The new bridge looks so ugly... Those concrete pilings and road slab just look so sloppy. Compare this bridge with the Golden Gate, Brooklyn, Hammersmith, or Sundial Bridges and you will realize the new Skyway is ugly.
Those examples are all bridges built to different specifications and circumstances. I feel that the Sunshine Skyway was a beautifully conceived design appropriate for the needs of the Tampa Bay shipping channel.
I thought it looks nice and modern
Very interesting, thank you for the cool video.
Fucking peasants ! No appreciation for a Lovely old ship. , I know it's being scrapped but still. Show some decorum
me too i am crying i am pissd off
I worked on this ferry for years. Great boat and the fulcrum of the fleet from the late 80's on. Always loved getting on the Calais or the Dover. Not the Kent of the Walmer or any of those other boats. I'm gobsmacked at this film. That ship is MASSIVE!!!
Thanks, I really appreciate the tour!
I was there during this time frame. Brings back a lot of memories.
I like how the car seems to go faster wherever S-L-O-W is painted on the pavement...
Slow is painted on the surface of the road rather than on the pavement...
F@#king kewl views!
Wheeee!
Sorry to hear you lost your quad same thing happened to me a couple of times with the new one I got. That horrible feeling as you watch it drop out of sight. seems strange but both times it was twice as far away as i thought it was when it went down and both times I measured the distance on google maps it had landed 300 metres away hope you find it good luck....
luke ford The good news is after a leaflet drop of the neighborhood it has been found and like you was a lot further away than I thought it was...only 120 metres from me but still deceptive, apparently the video of the crash is intact so will post it once I get it back.
Great video got my quad at Xmas fun fun fun roll on summer. lost my first one so now I leave a photo of my phone number and address on the quads camera ;-)
luke ford Thanks, advice I could have used yesterday as this one is now AWOL as well. I was panning at quite an altitude and lost my orientation of which direction it was flying. It was heading towards houses so rather than let it drift further I killed the motors and watched where it dropped...or so I thought. The search team is still out!
My mother was so terrified of crossing this bridge that it gave her a massive anxiety attack. She had to pull over and take one of her anti-anxiety pills. I was not with her thank God because I would have lost my shit.
Vic Morrow Forever In My Heart I don't blame her! lol.
The new one or the old one? As a kid I'd go over the old Skyway before it fell and I hated it, in part because us kids would just be thrown in the back of a pickup and left to slide around the bed of the truck, and also because the old Skyway bridge sounded like you were going over a drawbridge and you could feel the thing swaying in the air - additionally the old bridge was much more steep of an incline than the new bridge, on the new bridge just get in the left lane and it feels like you're not even on a bridge.
i've had anxiety attacks going over it too, luckily they weren't bad enough to make me stop driving but i was a wreck, it only happened when i was driving with someone else was in the vehicle, i'd have to hide my fear. once i stopped smoking pot regularly and changed my diet (way too much coffee) the attacks just stopped, haven't had one for 15 years. but i would drive over that thing every other day and after a while you could tell who was having trouble with it, you look over at people and they're "white knuckling" it on the steering wheel, always on the inside lane and driving slow, lol, you knew they were not enjoying the scenery.
That is one tall f***ing bridge! Holy shit!
We had our honeymoon in Florida in September/October 1989 and we love the fire works at the end of a fantastic day at Epcot thanks for the memories. Nigel & Diane Sadler
I trained on this ship, she and her sister the Dover were 2 of the greatest on the Dover Calais route. Its such a ship she had a crappy end to her life, being leased to Trans Europa before being beached. Such a sad film.
Trans Europe.... they had the Primrose and i was not impressed with that ship. Also scrapped i believe, after Trans Europe went bankrupt.
Sweet video...i remember driving on the new bridge only a few months after it opened and seeing the old bridge..which i also drove over and have many pics of.
Nice and relaxing...
Cool tour... I went in 2010 and learned a lot!
Thanks IOUABIG12, 2 years too late as I've only just seen your comment (sure there are bugs in youtube's comment notifications), added the tag and it works.....cheers. I have since been removing "letterboxing" with my editing software
I agree but this edit was the best of a bad bunch...
